Multimedia Photo Portraits

In our final workshop we finished colouring the background of our first set of black and white photos, and carried on working with emotions and colour to create more multimedia self-portraits.

This week we used larger copies of our photographs, cutting our second poses out and sticking them onto a piece of white paper.

Using three new colours, to reflect the emotions in our poses, we designed our own backgrounds around the photo to create a new portrait.

We covered our third set of photos with tracing paper and traced around the outline of our poses with a fine-tipped black pen.

It was a bit fiddly but we were pleased with the drawings.

We are looking forward to sharing a selection of our work at the exhibition in Llanelli House on 8 December and we also hope to use our portraits for an anti-bullying project at school.
