We looked at sections of maps for our warm up. If we could see pictures we drew them with a pen. It really got our brains working. It was quite mysterious because you kept on finding things.
We found faces, animals and bugs, mountains and ghosts and a cartoon snail with glasses on.
Then we looked at maps of Llanelli finding the places that we knew and marking them onto acetate. We joined these places together by working out how to get to them using the maps.
After the break we worked together to make a set of drawings by using different coloured lines to represent specific journeys.
Then we had a chance to make our own map of places that are important to us.
Everyone liked making their own map and when we scored this activity it was given eight ten out of tens.
We finished the third session by tracing around one of the photographs of ourselves that we had worked on last week.
